Dear residents, dear interested parties,
as you have certainly noticed, operations on the construction site continue with restrictions. In order to guarantee your safety and the safety of the employees working on the construction site to the maximum extent possible on our part, we are in constant communication with the Office for Building Regulations and Structural Engineering (Amt für Bauordnung und Hochbau, ABH), the Authority for Urban Development and Housing (Behörde für Stadtentwicklung und Wohnen, BSW), the Health Authority Hamburg Mitte and all other competent authorities such as the police, fire department etc. For a construction site of this size, this is the case as it is, and under these special circumstances, we conduct this dialogue with particular intensity. Many tasks on the construction site can only be carried out together with colleagues. We will preserve the jobs as long as possible while complying with all official requirements and measures beyond that.
Our measures go far beyond all recommended measures, we are cleaning all containers twice a day and disinfect all rooms according to hospital standards. The arrival and departure of the construction workers are adapted so that they can leave and board the bus individually and enter and leave the construction site individually through the turnstile. This is to avoid group gatherings at the turnstile. All planners, engineers and people who do not contribute to the construction progress directly on site and who can do their work from their home office will do so.
Please understand that we, too, have to react to the daily changing conditions. This also includes not burdening the residents or employees excessively.
