The leasing team networking
Professional exchanges and get-togethers at the Broker Breakfast and Local Heroes Event – the leasing team at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier took advantage of the relaxation of the corona restrictions for two extraordinary networking events which have taken place in the recent weeks: At the first Broker Breakfast, Constantin Wiesmann, Director of Leasing, and Anna Laura Riemann, Portfolio Leasing Manager, met with their team the commercial real estate consultants from CBRE GmbH, Comfort Hamburg GmbH, Jones Lang LaSalle SE, Lührmann Osnabrück GmbH & Co. KG , Maßmann & Co. Handelsimmobilien GmbH and Savills Immobilien Beratungs-GmbH for a relaxed breakfast in the Showroom of Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier. The Local Heroes event on the other hand, focused on exploring Hamburg’s busiest and best-known neighbourhoods in order to talk to the owners and to build a cross-district network. Only two weeks later, 30 local heroes joined the “after work” event in the Showroom.
“It’s always great to see how people coming to talk to us in our Showroom are really infected by our enthusiasm for the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier project,” explains Anna Laura Riemann. Her team had designed two leasing events with this in mind.
First URW Broker Breakfast in Hamburg
Fresh coffee, delicious fruit and many other small breakfast specialties provided the culinary framework for a relaxed meeting between Constantin Wiesmann’s URW Leasing team and representatives of various commercial real estate brokers. In addition to getting to know each other, the focus was on giving the guests insights into and information about Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier and the construction progress of the project. Not only the 3D model in the Showroom was used, but also a virtual reality tour, where the participants could explore the entire quarter “through” VR glasses. Finally, accompanied by Senior Leasing Manager Andreas Weigl and Leasing Manager Marc Botterweck, the guests were able to see for themselves the current status of construction progress from the vantage point at Überseequartier subway station. “The view of the large construction site in bright sunshine was the crowning glory of an eventful morning for everyone involved,” Wiesmann states.
Local Heroes Event in Hamburg
Out of HafenCity, into the neighbourhoods – this motto was followed by the URW leasing team in September as they explored the different districts of Hamburg. Karen Mester-Lichtsinn, URW’s Marketing Manager responsible for Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, and her colleagues from Leasing spent a day exploring the most exciting and lively neighborhoods in Hamburg in small teams. In well-known streets and interesting places like “Osterstraße”, “Karoviertel” or “Schanze” they searched and visited the hippest stores. In the many conversations they not only gained exciting insights into the everyday life of their interlocutors but were also able to present the idea of Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier. Two weeks later, 30 local heroes joined the subsequent after-work event in the Showroom in HafenCity. Guests enjoyed delicious finger food and refreshing drinks in a relaxed networking atmosphere. Afterwards, Andreas Weigl interviewed Wiebke Clef, who runs “Glore”, a store for sustainable fashion in the Karoviertel. “We are pleased that this after-work event was so well received and hope that it was the start of further networking events that may then take place in Eppendorf, Altona or St. Georg,” Anna Laura Riemann summarized.
